Williams, Dimaggio, Mantle and GAI

This seller has a bunch of Williams, Dimaggio and Mantle GAI certified autos.

I consider myself to be well versed on Ted's auto and all of these have strong characteristics that I like but the GAI cert won't allow me to touch these. The T's in Ted are where I see variations.

I am not versed enough on Joe D. or Mantle though I have on-card certified autos of both.

I wonder what others think about the actual autographs. If these were PSA/JSA they'd be listed x3-4 or more in price.

That item is no longer available on Ebay. However, in looking at the other items this seller has on eBay it is clear he sells nothing but forgeries. There are some pretty bad Mantle forgeries as well as DiMaggio.

*Speculating* he'd argue they are GAI certified.

Of course that is what he'd argue. The counterpoint is that GAI is giving an opinion not stating a fact. Their opinions happen to be wrong and forgers know they'll certify anything as good as long as you pay the fee.
