Auto ID please 1940 Tigers
I bought this 1940 WS Baseball two years ago. I can identify all autos but one. I believe all autos are authentic. Provenance is a telegram that accompanied baseball - winning 1940 WS tickets from a sweepstakes. Here are the autos...Reds: Ernie Lombardi, Paul Derringer, Lonny Frey, Frank McCormick, Bucky Walters....Tigers: Pete Fox, Dick Bartell, Del Baker, and UNKNOWN. I thought the name was Buck Delaney. I looked up the roster and there is no Delaney. I value your opinions. There is no sweetspot auto even though Del Baker should have signed there as the Tigers Mgr.
