You mean the same Rhys that's barely batting his weight for his career?

I kid. Yeah, I'll check his cards out. Once again, there's like 47 different "rookies" he has...not sure which is his flagship one.

The one who can’t defend his way out of a paper bag. But also he of the 10 HR and 1.045 OPS. I just went with 2018 Topps, regular and chrome....who knows what’s right...

Teasing. But its a little hard for me to warm up to Phillies players being from NY, but talent is talent. Thanks for the card info.

All good, totally get it. I've been a Philly fan in NYC for almost 20 years now so I am used to the ribbing!

Man, I was just looking back at some sales I had a few years ago and I sold a Yelich Update Gold Refractor for $10 about 3 years ago. I even sent it PWE to the buyer at his request back then.

His cards will probably be held in check somewhat by his playing in Milwaukee. Unless he wins another MVP. I remember when Braun was juicing his cards were still relatively affordable, likely because of where he was playing.

How about Matt chapman ? His can fare has not really picked up . His rookies will be on fire soon enough. His Topps update rookie is his only true rookie card so I would keep a eye on that as well.

I picked up one of his signed Bowman cards a couple years ago. Thought I scanned a pic but I must not have?

What did you pay for this? PSA screwed up big time on the label, that's a tough card variation. Good grab!

Wow! Should state "bat down", I'll have to see if it had an influence on prices. I have the base and it states "batting" for his normal pose. I know for sure I've seen a few "bat down" labels.

Edit: BGS is the company that labels bat down variation, not PSA. Sorry

Thanks, was around $410, including tax. Yes, after some research and insight given here, seems like the best ("flagship" non-signed card) to get for him.

Looks like PSA has identified a few as bat down. This won't cause any confusion AT ALL.
