Default Nolan Ryan and the dreaded plaques...

So I used to live in Texas. When Ryan was playing with the Rangers in the 1990's, he signed a ton of stuff for various dealers, promotions, companies, etc. Remember the autographed bronze cast of his pitching hand?!

Anyways, I have one of those framed plaque photos like the one in this auction. This is not mine, but it looks just like this. Any thoughts? The auto looks good to me, but not sure about the volume of fake Ryans out in the market and how 'good' they are. Thanks for the feedback.

The one pictured is 100% authentic. as long as yours looks exactly like this, and is #d in the limited edition (and no one removed the photo and recplaced it) it is good.

Default plaque

Looks good to me. Funny how the 90s were the years of the Plaques.

Thanks for the feedback! I figured it was real, but always good to get another set of eyes.

Going to shows in the 90s it was wall-to-wall plaques. LOL

I recall thinking at the time, I wish I had an interest in the company producing those faux marble MDF plaques. It wasn't just autographed photos... they had them for cards, unsigned photos, etc., etc.

If you check out the Steiner website, I think the plaques may be on a comeback. Although they are now shadow boxes.
