Default 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers team signed baseball opinions needed please

I have a friend who obtained this ball from his uncle when he was a kid. He does not know how his uncle obtained it. Since it was signed by Frank Kellert I would assume that would date it to 1955 since that was the only year he played for them. I am trying to find out for him if it is legit or a clubhouse signed ball. From what I read their batboy Charlie DiGiovanna signed many team balls from this era. I would like to find out if the signatures are authentic and what the market value would be. Also if it is a clubhouse ball if there would be any value. Attached are photos. Thank you very much for your thoughts. Mike

That doesn't look clubhouse at all to me, I like it. I don't know about value, but it is a sweet ball.

Agreed. It looks good to me as well. No idea on value either.

Can't comment on all sigs, but the Jackie and Campy looks great, and frankly I doubt someone is getting or putting fakes on a ball with a good Jackie/Campy. Nice ball!

"The Brow" would respectfully disagree.

Fair assessment, I might've overstated myself, I like the signatures I know and for the two signatures I know well, they look good to me!

Thank you for the opinions. Does anybody have a guess on a value? Thank you again for the help on this.

That's a really nice ball and the condition is outstanding. You would be doing yourself a great disservice not auctioning that ball. Price would be difficult to gauge with this ball. Good luck with it. Jason

Thanks Jason. I do not own it. Was just trying to get some information for them about the signatures being good and a possible value. If they wanted to auction it I guess it would help the price realized if they got a full COA from PSA/DNA or ??

Unfortunately yes, but if they auction it through certain houses they will have it reviewed prior to auction. Hopefully they would not want your friend to flip the bill for the letter. Check the fine print.

Sometimes you can negotiate that point (authentication fee). Commission rate are also negotiable, depends on how badly the auction house wants the item. Shop around. You've got a desirable item there.
