Default New competition for PSA with AI and machine learning!

I am clueless about the "crypto" part of this story, but intrigued by new grading company with a downloadable phone ap that uses AI and machine learning (analagous to the technology PSA just purchased by buying Genamint). Looks like they are focused on Pokemon so far, but things could get interesting:

I am actively buying and selling vintage sports cards graded and raw. Feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.

Perhaps a collector could someday just use an ap in their phone to just verify if a card is authentic, what the approximate grade is, and once the scan has been made, it is like a unique fingerprint that can be attributed to a specific owner.

If so, PSA may have just pee'd down their leg. Or, they will probably just buy the company to slow the progress.

Absolutely doable. No question. Even 3D. It's only a matter of which application the user designs. In this case, the business model is baseball cards and autographs. Already been helping a company using Google Tensor flow for a different app.

I like this idea and it can be done. Anyone want to get together to build a startup and raise funds? Not even joking.

It there a rule written down somewhere that the name of every card grading company has to be three letters?

That's about as much as many collectors can remember.
