How often do you see this card at auction. What is the typical condition of this card and how much can you expect to pay for a card in this condition.

Since the start of my site in summer of 2006 there have been 8 of them to come up in auctions. Most are graded by SGC and range in value from a SGC70 being $77K to an SGC Auth $10K. So to sum it up they come up about every 3-4 months usually in a major auction house and go for a lot in any condition,

I'll have an SGC 40 on the block in a few weeks. Mastro just sold one in the same condition for about 30K so that is my expectation, too.

Hey, he asked how often they come up in auction. Didn't I answer his question?

This question was on my mind too, so thanks for asking Peter, and thanks for those responding.
An "authentic" grade would have been good enough for me to go after the set, because I have a lot of low-grade E90s. However, the price is justified if that's what it goes for -- I just can't justify it to myself.

I was thinking of giving it to Leon for the next contest prize...let me clear it with my consignor and get back to you.

... come with a bullet hole through it to match the rest of my E-90's. Putting my own bullet hole in it just wouldn't be fair!
