Default BATRITE / Mel Ott

Bat Collectors,

Looking for any help to date this Mel Ott bat.
Value would be helpful as well.
Recent find.

Click link below.

Don't see it listed as a store model in the "Solving The Mystery Behind Hanna Batrite" article.

Thanks,

Matt

My eyes aren't what they used to be; but is that the 1930 patent stamp I see on the knob?

A courteous and very educated bat collector gave me this information.

Obviously the end of the barrel has been cut off.

The area that has been removed had the model number of the bat.

Judging by the knob, the bat is a post 1930 bat.

The knob stamping appeared on Hanna bats that were available to retail outlets.

The same stamping has been seen on pro bats.

Without the model number it cannot be determined if the bat was
manufactured strictly for pro use.

Hope this helps

Thanks,

Matt
