Default Is this card real or is it Memorex?

I have never seen an E98 with borders so white (bleach?). The ASA holder makes it suspect. Opinions?

is that the contrast of the scan has been lightened--heck, you can't even see the holder.

The name on the holder "ASA" doesn't exude confidence. On the other hand, on this card, maybe it's ok as the front just looks like a terrible "white'ish" scan (relative to the rest of the front though) The back looks sort of ok to me. I would stay away because of who's holder it's in coupled with the front "look"....I have other things to worry about.....

My expirience has not been that bad with these cards, However while I think the card is probably good, I would guess that it would grade between 4 and 6

TBob,

This card previously rested in a PRO holder.

It just looks as though he went a little wild on the brightness adjust button. Look how bold and bright the letters are on the holder. Otherwise I think the card looks good, it would be nice to get a look closer look with out the enhancements.

Pete, brings up an interesting point. The borders do look a little wavey. But then again it is hard to tell with the scan being as it is.

Has anyone ever seen a fake card in a PRO holder? As everyone knows PRO cards are usually(not always) trimmed, I have never seen a fake Pro card.

Just curious...

Nick

After reading that earlier post about this ASA company slabbing a counterfeit m101-5 Collins as a 5, I wouldn't trust anything from that brand any longer.

after reading what Greg said about all his trimmed caramel cards being slabbed in PSA holders, it makes not only PRO, ASA, CSA but also PSA suspect. I'm sticking with GAI...
