Brad W,Very rare card of HOF Honus Wagner, printed as a promotional card for Wagner to hand out during promotional appearances. According to the Standard Catalog, the year of this card is unknown, but best guess is 1946-1948 period. Card is printed in green ink on white stock. Actual size is 3 7/8" x 2 1/4". This card was recently discovered in a box of papers belonging to my father-in-law's grandfather, who lived in Pittsburgh his whole life and was a die-hard Pirates fan.
Card is in excellent condition for its age. No tears, some very tiny surface wrinkles. Top left corner has small wrinkle. But overall this is in exceptional condition. Scan is oversized to show detail.
