1961 & 62 World Series Shell Oil Pin Info Request
Looking for the story behind these pins. Both measure 3.5 inches in diameter. Are there others out there? What was Shell Oil's affiliation and why? Anyone have any knowledge to share?

Never could find out the story about these pins. This is the first time I have seen the Reds pin. very nice. So I guess Shell oil didnt want to lose customers so they made pins for both. I have the other 1961 version of the yankees pin. They are very hard to find. So now that I know there is a 1961 reds pins it would be logical to assume there should be a 1962 Giants pin. Maybe Rob with his Giants collection may have one... Rob?
