National Sports Convention
I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone here who came up to mine and John's booth and said hello. Please forgive me for never recognizing anyone as I deal with most of you online. As always, it was a pure pleasure seeing everyone here on the board at the show and the dinner.
A special thanks to Leon for organizing the dinner and a special thanks to Heritage for fronting the bill and saving me money as I would have attended Legendary Auctions if it weren't for the timing of this dinner. Dan Mckee |

Hey Dan
Hey Dan
Thanks for bailing me out when John was in deep thought and I thought I had forgotten to take a shower or something ? I smelled under my arms three times but no, it wasn't me. John is one of the legendary collectors and you are right behind him. Now, without me giving up a card I don't have a dupe of what can we do for me to get a D351? Can't you help a brother out somehow? It was great seeing you again, bro....can't wait for you to get to come to Big D where we can meet up again. I might even consider doing another show soon so we can hang out some more....take care

Oh yea, I am glad I noticed that as I first took it as you did and should have. Then I immediately said something to him and he looked at me like I had 2 heads so I knew it was just a misunderstanding.
Yes he is an icon! What a great few days sitting there with him. You will be the 2nd one to know when I am set for Dallas my friend. and hey, you are collecting ACC designations. That Washington times isn't cataloged in the ACC! Looks like a perfect trade where I am sitting! I even have a Leader Theatre to throw in to let you beat me up a little on value. I am all heart |

Hey Dan
Always great talking with you and John Rumierz and B. A. Murray. What a "one-two-three punch" combo you three are together.
I sent several guys over to your booth to see you, or John, or B. A.; and, I cautioned them, if they were going to your booth to speak with John.... DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, INTERRUPT JOHN IF HE IS ALREADY TALKING WITH SOME ONE Great show....great acquaintances....great conversations. And, we acquired and sold some cards, too. Best regards to you and your Dad. TED Z Last edited by tedzan; 08-10-2011 at 09:07 AM. |

Hey Dan
It was a pleasure seeing you again, along with other members of the board. I got to meet a few new members that I never knew other than by their user name. It made for a fun and rewarding National. Also wanted to thank you again for taking the time and answering my question. Jantz |
