Default Ruth/Gehrig signed ball help requested

I have always wanted one of these, but I am no expert on autographs. This one is currently up, and has a PSA letter. Can any experts offer an opinion?

It is probably authentic. I am a little surprised for an item like this that Goldin did not also get an LOA from JSA. Maybe they would not issue one or maybe since the autos are a little weak the consignor did not want to be charged for a second Opinion.

Was this traced over at all? The first thing that sticks out at me is the ink in B, the R, the crossing of the t, and the end of the h. It could be just the pics, but looks traced over a little bit to me.
