That's cool!

Looks better than a kid's art project to me. Never seen another, and love unique pieces like this. What are the measurements?

Default Jos Hoover & Sons 1900 Print “A Game of Ball”

Recently picked up this large framed chromolithograph by well known printer Jos Hoover of Philadelphia. The print is dated 1900. It’s large, measuring 16”x 20” not counting the frame. What was especially interesting to me was the equipment used by the kids: Ring bat, padded catchers mitt and I believe a figure eight baseball. I believe the frame may be original, as Hoover originally opened his business as a frame shop. As far as I know, this is the only sports related he made. I also believe this one is fairly rare.

Default I beam from hartford civic center collapse

1/18/1978

Just 5 hours after the uconn/umass mens game the roof of civic center collapsed. This is a 40lb piece of an original i beam that was sculpted by a former manafort employee to resemble the then wha whalers mascot pucky...

Bump cap was worn by a worker during the rennovation...

Picked up this program at a flea market yesterday. It was from from the April 30, 1961 Braves/Giants game where Willie Mays hit 4 homers off 4 different Braves pitchers. Hammerin Hank adds 2 of his own in a 14-4 loss. The Giants hit a total of 8 homers off Braves pitching from the April 30, 1961 Braves/Giants game.
