Default Appreciate opinions on these autographs

Hello Everyone,

I received these three cards in a complete set of 1961 Scoops that I won recently from REA. The rest of the lot was not autographed. I would appreciate opinions on the autographs. Are they real and worth sending in for authentication? They are of Hank Greenberg, Vic Wertz (hit the ball that Willie Mays caught), Hal Newhouser.

Thanks,

Joe

The autographs look good. If you are keeping the set and not selling, I don't see any reason to go to the expense of getting them authenticated. If you are planning to sell those cards individually it might be worth the investment to get them authenticated.

Close by Sylvania. I taught English at Northview High School. I have a lot of great memories of my time there.

Thanks everyone that responded. I am very excited about the Greenberg auto.

Wow, the 'Scoops' folks sure had their own quality control issues.
Although Greenberg is 'hitting a homer,' the ball is in plain sight behind him, being fouled off on that card.
