Default Help Identify Player American Giants

I met this gentleman in the 1980s at a card show in New Jersey. He had his own table set up to sign autographs. He was really nice and shared a few stories of his playing days in the Negro League. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name. It looks like Lou Dials??? Not sure. Any help identifying this baseball player would be appreciated.
