Default MOVED TO LIVE AUCTIONS: 1956 Topps (Lot of 58 - Raw) HOFers, Stars. etc.

Moved to Live Auctions:

http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=218785

Hi All!

For sale is a 58-card lot of 1956 Topps ungraded, which has been in my possession since the 60s. This collection contains HOFers, stars and well-known “commons”, and a bit of emphasis on Yankees and Dodgers. Good as a fine starter set, dealer inventory or the wacky-yet-lovable OBC landed gentry, and will save you $$ would you have to go out and pay shipping fees for multiple lots. Condition is more or less typical of what you see in the larger scans – as opposed to Williams - unless otherwise noted. No creasing and no human marks. Backs are either gray or white and there is no rariity that would wet your pants In random numerical and inon-alphabetized order, they are:

1 Harridge (no rubberband marks!), 240 Ford, 5 Ted Williams (this card is in lesser condition when compared to the others – surface wear and more rounded corners), 181 Billy Martin, 255 Lemon, 8 Alston, 10 Spahn, 173 Podres, 200 Feller, 113 Rizzuto, 25 Kluszewski (border totally trimmed), 208 Elston Howard, 115 Jensen, 61 Skowron, 35 Rosen, 280 Gilliam, 235 Newcombe, 155 Kuenn, 145 Hodges, 125 Minoso, 143 Piersall, 148 Dark, 45 Zernial, 234 Runnels, 225 McDougald, 233 Erskine (printer's ink card on card number), 177 Bauer, 2 Giles, 245 Goodman, 24 Groat, 228 Vernon, 273 Cooper, 195 Kell, 312 Pafko, 150 Pierce, 75 Sievers, ,330 Busby, 285 Miksis, 104 Lennon, 297 Skinner, 324 Bridges, 97 Lynch, 67 Power, 68 Stobbs, 80 Smith, 38 Kennedy, 3 Valo, 220 Ennis, 336 Kinder, 210 Garcia, 26 Hatton, 4 Paula, 128 Yost, 185 Bruton, 132 Avila, 321 Konstanty, 302 E. Robinson.

Feel free to ask questions, etc. (BTW, I work a graveyard shift so responses to posts on the thread may take a little longer than expected. Responses to any PMs will be in chronological order).

Price is $325 - only about $5.50 per card(!!). And only one shipping fee for all this(!!) or not...depending on form of payment:

By check: Add $13.45 for a medium-size Priority flat-rate box
By Postal Money Order: Add $6.75 for your half of the shipping.
Cash: Free Shipping
(I have no PayPal account)

Thanks for looking!

Paul if the lot does not sell I would like to highly underpay you for the Ted Williams.

If anybody is interested in everything but the Williams please let me know. I am sure we could work something out with Paul as I have had a few great transactions with him.

LOL, Ben, and everybody else - I accidentally reported my own thread
YOW! You sure you want it now? Anyway, I am off to work now - when I get home in the morning I'll see if the thread is still alive! I may not have too many hits at that point

Yeah, I always wondered what that little doohickey was for I didn't have my glasses on when I pushed it.

I have a ton of really nice 54s from both issues. Will be in touch tomorrow at some point in the day.

Default Moved to the Live Auctions section

This thread is now closed and has been moved to the Live Auction section of Net54. After only one cherrypicker and zero low-ball offers, I can only assume you either have too much respect for me or have lost your collective edge

Hope to see you there
