SGC: How Did This Get a Number Grade?
The "GOODWIN & CO. New York." ad line is trimmed off the bottom. How did this get a number grade? BTW, not that it matters for a 10, but the back is a mess.

A scan would help.

Seems like they should spend more time on making sure their grades are correct, and less time worrying about the color of their flips.

Speaking of things that are trimmed, that thumbnail is really short. Didn't that hurt?

I always thought many OJ's were hand cut from factory, but you folks are the experts. Love your book BTW.

I guess that for all the talk of SGC's superior customer service that they have deemed it unnecessary to explain this grade. Would have been nice for them to say something. Oh well.

Another excellent question! It makes you wonder why TPGs are as important as they are in the hobby. Some guy (and I say guy because I know of no women graders--perhaps that's what we need. They would probably do a better job)can by one grade determine whether a card is a $500 card or a $5000 card, and yet cards can be graded by multiple "skilled" graders and mistakes like this can still be made. The inmates are running the asylum.
