My second SC350 Factory 30 with Factory Stamp

Okay-okay, so it's only like 5% of a factory stamp.

Has anyone seen a full number 30 stamp though? I've seen 4 or 5 now, with none more than around 30% visible.

Trae,

Yes full ones are out there, I know of a board member that has a stellar Matty Port with a full #30 on the back. Perhaps he will share....

Cheers,

John

Default thanks

Gabrinus,

Thanks! These have been so hard to find. They do go nicely with my others as i continue my quest to complete the set.

Now I just need to get them off to PSA or SGC... I'm still undecided which!

Very pleased to add this postcard of Daubert to my Reds collection. The fact that it is addressed to a nearby town adds to my enjoyment.

Thanks to Tony Andrea on the BST!

Calvindog actually beat Don Spence out of that Exhibits Cobb ! That's an extraodinary feat in itself. I did that one time just to prove I could, and still paying for it !! Great card.

Isaac, they're SGC A trim jobs unfortunately, but I'm a sucker for eye appeal (and they're mighty affordable!).

Hey Dan, where is the "Big League Chewing Gum" on the bottom of the Goudey Vaughan? I thought all 1933's had that (except Lajoie, of course). Something I don't know about? Wouldn't be the first time!

Hey Ken,

I don't think any card after #190 or so has the "Big League Chewing Gum" designation on the front of the card. There are also some prior to #190 that don't have it either such as #112 (Schulte), #142 (Richards), etc...

I am not exactly sure why, hopefully someone with more knowledge can chime in.

Rob

Ken

there are a number of the 1933 Goudey cards that do not have the BIG LEAGUE CHEWING GUM banner on the bottom. See also the Richards, Berger, and others. Some great colors on those cards !

He's only a common, and a former Yankee, but I love this card. Goudey obviously didn't care much in the design, but the color and stuff makes this kinda cool IMO.

Default Poor Man's T4 Cabinet

Here's my presentation solution to my T4 that was trimmed to the oval.

Here are the before and after scans.

I could not justify spending the current market price for an unaltered T4 cabinet, so this is a wonderful addition and solution for my catcher collection.
