Won three cards total. One of my very favorite aspects of the hobby is when I discover a card that is NOT the color it should be.... so here's a "blue" e97 I won...

item_129263_1_298169.jpg

Should Look like this though...

restricted.jpg

Also won a nice SK Ruth...

item_130032_1_298914.jpg

And a T210 with some sort of a weird "haze" to it that I've seen on this issue before....

I grabbed the PSA 1 T-206 Cy Young Glove Shows

Completes my T-206 Cleveland team set. My goal was to keep the cost below four figures. With tax I succeeded by $4.90. If I allocate my postage charge evenly among my four wins I went over by 10 cents.

Just a bit more expensive than my Cy Young Portrait acquired in a Frank Nagy auction about 35-40 years......

With Young, Lajoie, Flick and Joss completing the team set was a bit of a challenge.

Congrats on the great pickups guys! Was targeting a couple T210s, but the card budget wasn’t up for it this go around. Excited to see what other gems you guys scooped up

I was interested in about half a dozen other T210s, but I ended up adding only one (Blue, Waco).

There was a Cobb b18 and a couple of t200s I was interested in, but fell asleep at 8:30 and didn't wake up during extended bidding. Maybe next time!

Love seeing everyone's wins!

Nice cards, all. Here are 2 from yesterday. Bridwell goes well with my T205 Bridwell back run, only missing P42, and there is conflicting information on whether one exists. From what I see on the PSA pop, this is the only one signed and graded by psa. Have not checked the other pop charts.

Also a Lionel Carter T202. His cards always look near mint, mint.

Don't believe the PD 42 exists. I remember having that discussion when I was finishing the PD 42 back run.

Sort of off topic, but here's my REA win. An old friend of mine & I will open these packs like we did when we were eight years old. Total loss of money without any regrets.

Jeremy a 1979FB PSA 10 common with a POP of 3 sold for $902 in December on eBay. You might hit a goldmine there. I would have to wear gloves, but I could rip like crazy on say 88 Donruss baseball. Good Luck with it. Neat item. 78 FB was a big year for me as a kid. About 10 years ago I picked up 2 78FB vending boxes, but the cards looked like 6-7-8 range.

I did a little post-war bargain hunting and picked up the Yellow Basepath pin of Robin Roberts and the 1974 Topps puzzle of Jim Palmer.

I'm wondering if it's going to smell the same. I haven't bought a pack for ten years.

The Bridwell Piedmont 42 was not confirmed on the original T205 Resource checklist, but Joshua L. (a member on here) confirmed it to exist on a subsequent update of that checklist. If it does exist, there certainly are not many of them.

I tried 1984 Topps gum about 5 years ago. It disintegrated into powder in my mouth. It was almost impossible to get the little pieces out.

Yes, Josh said he used to have one, but doesn't have a pic, and the other experts say it does not, and or should not exist. It's fun to think the hunt is still on, it's how I found the signed one.

I added a couple of Dockmans and, on a whim, picked up some 1952 Berk Ross for less than the grading costs.

Nice E104-1 blank back of Bender, but a word of advice to those out there...graded card holders are not to be used as a scouring device when cleaning pots and pans.

Brian, I use my slabs to scrape ice off my car windshield. Is this not a good thing to do?

I guess this would be acceptable when you do not have a credit card to do the job.
