Default Does anyone else think that this is madness????

Don't get me wrong, I believe that something is what someone is willing to pay,but +$700 for a Feller auto??? I too like the vintage signed cards, but you can get a Cobb for that. I'd be interested in what others think. Please let me reiterate that I don't have a problem with the piece bringing that much, just surprised. Post your comments!!!!

Seriously? That's a damn good price. Good grade for a tough card. Yes, it's Feller but so what. It's a popular set and there aren't an infinite amount of the '38 Heads Up signed compared to 48 Bowman. A 1 or 2 grade sells for around $300.

A 4 non-signed sells for $500-$600 so I don't see what you are seeing.

I'm not a card collector, so I was not aware of that. I remember back in the day when a signature ruined the price of the card. I was just surprised, that's all.

Oh gotcha. How long ago was that? I don't know the market pre-2007. They are surprisingly tough (signed Feller 38 HU). I have a couple but would have loved this upgrade.

Upon doing a little research , the value of that card surprised me. I was unaware that it was that valuable. See, ya learn something everyday. Thanks everyone for their input.

I did not buy it . I remember when I was a kid I wanted a auto rc collection. But all the old guys at the show told me it ruined the card. They said if I did do it to use beaters.
