Default 1931 World Series Ticket Stub Help Please

I have this ticket stub and wanted opinions on if it authentic or not. I have no knowledge in this area. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob

Bottom edge looks bad, but maybe just the way it's photographed. Also don't like no perforated edge where torn off, and color is different front to back. Again, maybe just the photos. Based on those observations, it doesn't look good to me.

Thanks for the reply. I was a little unsure myself. I list things on ebay for a friend and this was one of them. It was questionable to me so I thought I would check here. I think I will return it to him and not list it as I do not want anything questionable with my listings.
Thanks again,
Bob

Just scanned my stub from Game 5....stub is detached.

The photos of your stub looked like they were enhanced using Photoshop
(causing the yellow color) and then cropped tightly....you should be able to tell if it's real if you get it in hand.

Looks a bit sketchy without having it in hand. Also looks like it may have been trimmed down a little bit and then varnished or heavily glued to stick in a scrapbook...and then soaked back out at some point.

That's cool as can be, sir! That's what "The Real McCoy" ought to look like.

BobW - Is the ticket glossy? This one is.

It has not been photoshopped as I have the ticket in hand and scanned it myself. Maybe I should try to scan again with different settings.

I just have experience with tickets like this.

It shouldn't be glossy, unless maybe it's been varnished or laminated (or both), by some collector along the way.
