Been collecting mainly signed cards for the past 5-6 years, but with prices exploding and the current inability to consign items I've added very little since the pandemic. Looking for a project to pass the time I've noticed SGC 9.5 modern Flagship rookies go for about a 1/3 of PSA 10 examples (or even less) and to me there is really no difference so why not....

I was able to pick up all four of these this week for less than the price of the Tatis alone in PSA 10. Does that make me like a half-sheep?

I would bet those SGC 9.5's are just as good, and likely better than those PSA 10's.

Nice P/U's.
Congrats.

Decided to pick up this one, a Cavan Biggio signed Bowman's Best RC 35/150.
I really like this kid despite him not getting the attention of Bichette and Vlady.

Kenny Lofton is the greatest player to fall off the HOF ballot after one year. It's a joke.

Agreed, and I suspect this will get remedied at some point by the veteran’s committee. There will be cases if there being not enough of his cards graded to meet demand.

For example, the ‘92 Fleer above is one of only 10 graded examples on the PSA pop report.

I think by WAR, those guys are #1 and #2 (75.1 and 71.1 on BBREF, respectively).

The surprise #3 (at least to me) - Rick Reuschel at 69.5, then Lofton (68.4) and Kevin Brown (67.8).

Got these Wade Boggs in the mail today. Used this lot to get to $25 on the Happy25 eBay coupon.

If anyone needs one I would do a trade in PWEs for almost any Boggs card from the last 20 years.

Love it! I found a group of 4 or 5 1986 Topps cards that are all miscut like that..they were all in a 5000 count box and together so I think they came from the same pack.

I love the look of cards in SGC holders. And to be honest, there probably isn't much difference in PSA and SGC grades except for price. In fact, I'm thinking about starting to get some of my vintage star cards graded (I've never had any cards graded). But I'm thinking about doing SGC because I like the look of them so much.

Not really new pickups but newly rediscovered, I got around to looking through some boxes of cards/sets I had squirreled away a few years back and came across these raw cards. The Finest is nice and the marks are from the penny sleeve it is in...

It’s always good when you find a house payment squirreled away in a monster box. Great find Rhett.

I have just returned to the hobby after a 13 year break. I was a big Griffey collector and found so many great cards. Just got this today. My first card to for my personal collection in a very long time. Can’t wait to talk cards again.

Adam! It seems like we still have the same taste in cards. Nice Griffey!

I am trying to finish my last set I was working on when I stopped collection and have been making good progress on the master 2006 Topps Heritage set will all inserts.

Anyways happy to be collection again because God know I can use a hobby!

All the best in cards!

Added two Damn Yankees and a Fighting Phillie today. The Hoskins card is such a wonderful image on a clean card design. Just wish it had borders....

I really like the full bleed cards! Nice rookies for sure! I love the Stadium Club set this year.

I was able to get one of my favorite 90’s insert set. Flair Hot Gloves! It iis amazing to me how cheap childhood memories are to go get!

Also got a few more for the 2006 Heritage set.

Bought a hobby box of Allen & Ginter and pulled a cool David Ortiz/Ted Williams Double Rip card numbered to 15. I can never get pictures to work here, but I included a link below.

Not baseball, I just added this awesome 1/1 Proof to the Jay North 2017 Leaf rainbow I am working on.

Still need a couple more of the 1/1s Proofs to complete it. Was more than happy to trade out the custom Grey 1/1 Proof with the real one.

No relation, fan of the TV show. I picked up the autographed normal(white) card. Then picked up a 1/1 promo and a few serial #ed auto cards. Then I figured I would try to get the rainbow.

I still need a couple of the 1/1 Promo cards and one of the 1/1 Autograph cards. I made customs to fill in till I get the real ones someday, hopefully.

I don't count it as part of the Rainbow but also have the yellow autographed printing plate.
