Don't know enough about the ball or the era; but the Gomez looks solid to me.

thank you for your feedback. Do you know of anybody that specializes in older autographed balls? Or HoF items?

Show the rest of the ball. Looks like Medwick might be on the sweet spot and there are other signatures not shown.

It's got Yogi Berra, Lefty Gomez, Sam Rice, Bob Feller, Monte Irvin and what I believe is Jim Roland, from what I can see and they're all good. Based on the writing on the ball and the class that year (which included Berra and Gomez as inductees) it was probably signed during the Hall of Fame weekend.

Looks like a nice collection of mostly HOFers. I see:

Yogi Berra
Lefty Gomez
Sam Rice

Dale Long (not HOFer but did hit a homer in 8 straight games)
Bob Feller

Not sure
Monte Irvin

Bowie Kuhn
Jim Bunning (?)

Joe Medwick

The one you thought was possibly Jim Bunning is actually Joe Garagiola. And the unidentified is, I think, Jim Roland.

Default Jim Roland

The Yankees played the Dodgers in the HOF game that year, so that would explain Roland on the ball.

Default Value?

Thank you all for your informative replies! Can anyone give me a ballpark (no pun intended) idea of the value of this ball? It was given to me as payment on a debt.

If someone offered 100 I would be surprised. Not a very atractive ball with all the signature inks, but who knows the right buyer comes along.

Part of the problem is that there isn't a pattern for the ball. It's not a Yankees ball, or Pitchers w/ no-hitters, etc. And it doesn't carry a particularly high profile name that is hard to get. It's just good players who happened to be at the same place at the same time.
