Default I received a message from randy hodinkee

In response to my posting for cards needed to complete my sets, this morning I received a message from this person listed in the title. I saw that he was banned, so I didn't reply. He tried to refer me to this address santoalex@gmail.com. I'm not planning to contact him, either.

Happy collecting!

Yeah, two different users contacted me using the same email address you are showing here, telling me the same thing. Scammers.

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

He must be getting some responses, to make it worth his time (and his old man's time) to keep changing usernames and email addresses.

To these people in 3rd world countries a single successful scam for let's say a few hundred dollars, is absolutely massive. You're talking months of food and other necessities being covered on 1 scam. So the incentive is assumingly through the roof. It's really a terrible situation.

And I'm happy that net54 is very very tuned in and aware of what to look for.

The United States really needs to say to these countries, hey you know all these massive call centers making hundreds of thousands of dollars a week scamming (usually) elderly people that are "technically" illegal but nothing is enforced there? They need to be investigated or we are going to start punishing you in some way financially. How much longer will it go on?

To make matters (very slightly) worse, their one post was in the Monster Number thread. It was just getting back on track...

That post and one that commented on it (rightfully so) were just deleted.
