PRO Grading Company

I bought this card back in mid December for $46. I'm wondering why I got it so cheap for a grade of NM+ 7.5. Is the PRO Grading Company a complete joke ? |

You'd be lucky if that card graded at all. Probably looking at a trim. |

Hey, for 46 bucks and the cost of grading I guess it's worth a shot. |

The bright side is that it was an inexpensive $46 lesson instead of a $500 - $1000 lesson. The first thing most vintage collectors think when they see a PRO holder is "trimmed." Stick with SGC, PSA, Beckett, and GAI and your odds of getting a trimmed card in a holder go way down. And if they were trimmed and reside in a high numbered holder, they were trimmed really, really well. |
