Been wanting a 52 Gordie for a while as my earliest Howe card. Wanted to keep it low grade and not too spendy and finally found this guy without any creasing or wrinkles like I was seeing in just about everything else in my desired price range. Was really happy with the surface and image on this one.

That is a beauty. Congratulations. Still kicking myself for not buying a 52 Parkhurst Sawchuk from my local shop for a great price. Your patience paid off nicely on this one.

Thanks. That Sawchuk is a great card, really impressive detail in the image.

Always loved the look of this set. Looking for other 1930s Blackhawks PSA graded cards!

Here's my boy, Walter White (and Black):

Don't let the cute fool you; he's racked up over a dozen rat kills that I know of, plus a baby raccoon. He's a big, heavy pounce hunter; should have named him "Thud" because when he hits the floor it is with a thud. He's so strong that when he head-butts me he can knock me off balance if I am not paying attention. It gets pretty annoying when I am asleep in my recliner.

But I digress...

That is a really nice Parkie Howe. I always admire a nice #9. I may have to look for one of those.
