Default Pneumatic Baseball

Has anyone heard of a Pneumatic League Baseball? I saw this ad in a large group of magazine clippings for sale on ebay.

someone on ebay selling a pneumatic baseball ad cut out of something, with Nap Lajoie endorsement of. He says "freely that it is all right . . . great ball for the game."
