Default "Cylinder Ghost"????? What is this description?

I have been watching from afar as time has went over the years. I am pretty keen on errors and spotting them. Whats crazy is I am seeing now there is something called a "Cylinder Ghost" on several T206's in the BST. Maybe I missed this classification of error before but what exactly is it that is being described? I have what I think is a logical answer to this but I honestly want to hear from the board about it and what they think.

Please post some examples so we can better understand what it is exactly we are looking for.

These seem to be most common on T206, probably because of the sheer # of cards printed, but they sometimes show up in other issues too.

A wet Cylinder transfer, or ghost, is usually a much more detailed version of image transfer than a Wet Sheet transfer or ghost. It is extra ink actually on the printing cylinder as opposed to some ink not dried on a sheet when the next sheet gets stacked on top. They are some of the coolest images out there. Ask Val Kehl to share his E127 Sam Rice. The image on the back is almost as nice as the image on the front! Wet sheet transfers are things like the red box on 1933 Goudeys appearing on the backs of many of the cards, or this beauty (In the interest of full disclosure it's in our current auction)

Like Casper, they are just 'better' ghosts.

I always do that. I combine the year (1927) and the catalog number.

There are a few videos on youtube from t206 museum that are quite interesting about these kind of ghosts.
