I was very happy to be able to complete the 1935 R311 Chicle set by finding the first and the last photo premiums - Joe Bach and The Greatest Tackle

Sadly, this contract has a bit more meaning with the passing of the great Sammy Baugh

Picked this up earlier this year and I don't know much about it, but really enjoy it.

Hi:

I can make out most of the letters on the banner. But if you could please list them out.

The NS on the guys vest would lead me to believe that it is a Normal School but these guys appear a bit older.

Holding the banner up by the use of a fishing pole is very cool!

Looks to be right after a game.

What is the size?

Very cool image.

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,

The letters read: HSFBT

The year: 1893

Letters underneath are: KSR

Probably High School Foot Ball Team, 1893.

As for KSR...you got me.

The size is about 6" x 4"

Rob

All I got was a Red Grange exhibit card (in action version) and a few hundred other cards of little real note, though I did get a Vince Papale...
