Default Hill hits second cycle in 11 days!

Whew! Super Cool! I understand Babe Herman did it in 1931. Anyone know how far apart were his? Aloha, Dave

I heard that this morning. really amazing, as a cycle is incredibly difficult to accomplish.

I just checked retrosheet (linked to this board). Herman did it May 18 and July 24 in 1931.

I traded away Rickie Weeks (hitting below the Mendoza line) in my fantasy league the first week of the season to my rival in exchange for Jose Altuve (probably now an all-star) and he picked up Aaron Hill (who I dropped) a few weeks later to fill the hole in his roster at 2B.

I remember chuckling that he had to settle for Aaron Hill.

I guess he got the last laugh.
