Default Baseball Magazine Premium color variant

Picked this up last week; a green colored M114 of Jimmy Foxx. Card stock is correct and is not a magazine cutout. Anybody ever seen or heard of this color? thanks,
jim

As I told Jim the other day when he ran this past me, I have NEVER heard of or seen a green M114 - which is not to say that this isn't the real deal. I note that the Jimmy Foxx poster showing him with the A's dates from 1928 and was the only M114 newly produced that year. I wonder if the green color was an experiment they tried that year, and when it didn't take off, they subsequently reprinted the Foxx in the same sepia tones the other M114 photos feature?

By the way, Jim, can you confirm the precise dimensions of the piece? As we know, it should come in at about 9 1/2 x 12, give or take. The reason I ask is that upon further reflection, the piece looks like it may be slightly trimmed. Still a unique item.

That's new to me, too.
