Default Jumped back into the hobby

Started collecting cards in the 80s/early 90s and had a blast trading with my friends. I even did card shows a number of times when I was 12 for a few years which was a great learning experience.

Not sure I am ready to go back to cards, specifically modern, so trying something new. Always been a fan of baseball history, but recently dipped my toe into photos and tickets/programs. Just read, A Portrait of Baseball Photography after lurking here for a few months and saw someone recommended it. I won a few Burke Type 1s at the last Uncle Jimmy (Ruth and Gehrig respectively) and picked up the Uncle Jimmy’s Babe Ruth Bows Out ticket/program. Might be the most enjoyable purchases I have made in the last 20 years.

Look forward to learning from the group as this seems like a very knowledgable group.

Welcome to the fray. Type 1 photos are awesome to collect. Good luck in the hunt.
