Default 1962 Topps Uncut Sheet

Hi everyone, I recently acquired a 1962 Topps uncut sheet of cards from series 2 and 3. Cards have finished backs also. The sheet includes 15 Ruth cards, 2 Kalines, 2 Mccarver RCs, Santo, 2 second series checklists, 1 third series checklist, 2 Milwaukee Braves team cards. I've been searching auction histories for comparable sales and haven't been able to find any other uncut 62 sheets. Anyone remember any that have sold/purchased one recently? I'm trying to determine both value and rarity. Thanks in advance!

That's the same group of cards that later became the green tints/pose variations. Too bad it isn't a GT sheet, but, man, that is extremely cool!!!

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

The one in the link just sold for $2,700+21% commission in the recent REA auction. Obviously condition counts & different series, but its a # to start with.

Very nice pickup!

- Looks like the link isn't working, its lot #1296 in the fall 2017 Auction

Thanks guys! I was hoping it had the Mantle on it but must have been on the next sheet. I appreciate all the information it is very helpful. Curious as to how someone could have gotten an uncut sheet, did Topps employees steal them or is it something Topps hands out?

Hey, could you post a larger pic of that sheet or PM it to me or something? I'd love to have a clearer view of it.

I've only taken it out of the cardboard roll once, don't want to damage it. I took three pics when it was taken out, I know they are virtually the same pic but maybe one is clearer?

When you do unroll it make sure you hold down the entire width of the edge. Holding in places like you are doing in the images is an easy way to create vertical creases.

I've only seen partial sheets from 1962 for what it's worth. very nice piece.
