As a brand new member I hope you will give a few references for your transaction partner. Nothing personal.....

Also, is that a black dot on the front of the card on the right side (*as it is on the screen)?

The black mark and a smudge to the left of it do appear to be on the card?

Seller seems very easy to work with and I'm still considering buying this if he still has it in a couple weeks. I was inquiring about this card on Blowout also and here's what he said about the black mark....
"I was told if it was not for the printing mark, the card would have graded a 7...which is a $5k card.* The centering, corners and edges suggest a 7."

Certainly,

My ebay ID is the same as my handle here. I did that to establish credibility. I have been a member on ebay since 1999. I have 3000+ positive feedback. I've been a member on the Blowout Boards for more than 7 years (Since 2008)

As for direct references, I've done two major vintage deals with Wayne Varner and Shoe Box cards. One of those deals was in person at the national.

I currently participate in consignments with Brent at PWCC. I'm getting more and more into vintage. I'm 35, been married 8 years and have a son who turned 5 today

As for the printing mark. Yes, it is a mark from the printer. I was told by an expert it's the only reason the card did not receive a "7".

Thank you sir!! As you know we don't have a formal feedback system so a few more precautions always need to be taken. If you ever need help just let me or another mod know. Good luck with everything!!

Default My 1954 Topps PSA 6 AAron

It looks like Buckswin Aaron is now listed with Sean at a no reserve auction on ebay

thus i am filling in the gap with my aaron psa 6 so net54 can still have one for sale... not sure why something showed up under hanks left ear..i took another picture.there are no marks there...centering is much better than most 1954 Aarons..

right but I helped advertise your aaron on ebay.....anyone can feel free to 'hijack' any of my threads on a card if my card that is the subject of the thread is listed at no reserve outside auction. : ) .i think your bidding is at 1700+ now early on.

you were fast to throw on ebay after listing here on net54..also no warning either...usually people keep saying 'will send to ebay' and it never happens...or at least never with a no reserve.....you throw it to ebay without any word....now that's original!

Buddy, I was not being serious...hence the lol. Additionally, I stopped updating this thread once it listed on eBay. Your more than welcome to post your Aaron here. Did I imply otherwise?

correct...I thought it would sell for less considering the bad centering and black spot on the border but prices are going strong for a low end example apparently... high end examples go for more....

SGC 8 Banks just sold for 3600...as well..guess if I had a psa 8 centered banks (which sold for over 7k today ) you would quote that SGC one.....or can just go buy a PSA 7 Aaron for about 9k that sold at heritage last week which was a few k more than some PSA 7s sold for previously, perhaps it was because of the centering and eye appeal versus the lower selling ones....but im sure heritage will let you quote those prior PSA 7 sales even if they were badly centered or have back dots on the border because bidders don't care about centering or black dots....

I not even quote a psa 6..it was a psa 8 pd I quoted... relax

You are the one quoting (cherry picking) prior sales to try to add value to yours (in someone else's FS thread mind you), not me. I simply quoted the sale of the OPs EXACT card that he was actually selling. So far, you've quoted a PSA 7 from an auction house and a PSA 8 pd that was shilled, and you rambled on about a couple Banks RCs. Seems like you are the one that needs to......."relax"

if I was cherry picking I would show prior sales of PSA 6 cards..like one that sold for $3250 in September.....just giving an example....we can quote away on cards...but cherry picking involves picking the same graded card.......whats your purpose of cherry picking the worst selling example in the past 5 months that has bad centering a black spot on it ? (in which I was already quoted by Sean on the forum before the end of the auction , about that card going to bring down VCP) Plus the card that started the thread is no longer for sale on the thread, my card was for sale..i think his card was on the thread for about 2 days?

Am I trying to say my card is worth more than $2250? I will go on a limb and say yeah.. that card wasn't listed with PWCC as well or a main auction house. ...I cant quote from a PSA 7 sale? People don't ever factor into what the next graded card goes for? Plus my point was there can be a great disparity between same graded cards like the PSA 7.....so the PWCC card was shilled? was the PSA 7 at Heritage shilled? You seem to have all the answers....how about the 6.5 that sold for 4k... ..I have my card for sale and I am bringing up sales prices on a PSA 8 pd card.....whats the purpose of your post besides trolling, I will make sure to point out any flaws or lowest selling examples of any cards you ever post .....also its one thing to quote other auction prices..but when I quote a sale of a psa 8 pd card and you just say that card was shilled it seems you are arguing with my listing with intent to impact it negatively..it is my understanding that you were never interested in a PSA 6 Aaron at the current price point (over 2k)...so you really need to relax....

Watch out whoever lists a 1975 Topps George Brett PSA 9...smillz will sure to post that the last one sold for $500......maybe he will say it was shilled as well..who knows...don't even dare to quote what a PSA 10 Brett last sold for.......that's what may set him off...
