Default Pre-War Ballplayers Who Wore Their Cap at a Tilt?

Pretty straightforward question. Were there any pre-war ballplayers (my first instinct is yes) who wore their cap at a tilt? Any pre-war cards depicting them as such?

Sure, lots of them! Here's one of Ernie Lombardi, a HOFer that you can find lots of images with his hat cocked to the side.

haha... Jim Bottomley... hip hop before hip hop was cool.

This is a classic tilted cap card (not mine):

(edited to change the card to Matt C's Caramel Ruth -- just a killer PSA 4 from Matt's collection -- posted without permission but I know he won't care )

Default E96

From an earlier era the E96 Mike Mowrey comes to mind (maybe someone can post an image).

Default 2 Bits and a shave...plus 2 more Bits

Of course back in the day 50-cent was instead known as 4 Bits.

Default Smoky Joe Wood

My immediate thought when I saw this was Joe Wood. I don't have a good card to show of him but it seems his hat was always tilted a certain way.

And apparently he was just as clueless at gripping a bat as putting on his cap. Could you even get a ball out of the infield choking up like that?

Not sure, but bet he could play some mean pepper like that.

I do have to give it up to the old timers.. most choked up, most could bunt, many had short choppy swings, but those guys could all put the ball in play.
