c.1905-10 Hilltop Park Ticket Stub, highlanders (thanks David!)
1929 Yankees Opening Day Ticket...(David posted his 1923 stub)...based on some research, this game was postponed due to rain and was played 2 days later...Ruth homered in his first at bat, and this marked the first game that the Yanks wore numbers...the first team in sports to do so permanently. Jimmy,

While not exactly "vintage" by this forums standards, here are the few I have. I was friends with former major league player Carl Willey, so I collect items related to him.
He pitched in game 5 of the 1958 World Series against the Yanks. Here is a proof ticket from that game. This is a guest pass from the same game. And here is a picture of Carlton on the mound during the 8th inning during game 5. I love all the other tickets and photos posted in this thread, most of them I have never seen before. Thanks for sharing everyone. |

Move over, Babe...here comes Henry. Hank Aaron clouts #714 in Cincinnati on Opening Day in 1974.
Ted Williams returns to baseball to manage the Washington Senators on Opening Day 1969. Bobby Murcer homers as Mel Stottlemeyre goes the distance for an 8-4 Yankee win. The Athletics play their final games in Kansas City before only 5,325 fans, sweeping the White Sox in a doubleheader. Those would be the final victories for the franchise. Catfish Hunter wins the finale. |

Hi Guys,
This is my first time posting, although I’ve been a long time lurker. The knowledge and information shared on this forum is amazing. Here’s a ticket to Babe Ruth’s last appearance at Yankee Stadium, June 13, 1948. It was the day the Yankees retired Babe’s number 3. The event was captured in Nat Fein's Pulitzer Prize winning photo. |

Not vintage but indulge me. A ticket from a significant game that I attended. Game 6, 1995 World Series, Tom Glavine's eight innings of one hit shutout ball brings a world title to Atlanta.
