Koufax 1 hitter
He only threw two, and now I have them both. With thanx to Lelands.
My 273rd different regular season game with a scored Koufax program, and 123rd win game. Last edited by doug.goodman; 10-29-2024 at 10:28 PM. |

Those are nice, I think every 1963 Red Sox game used that cover.
You posted the wrong link for the June 22 game, here's the one you meant to use... https://flic.kr/p/2qqvwRQ I don't know how to post the link as a picture like you did... Last edited by doug.goodman; 10-29-2024 at 09:21 PM. |

[QUOTE=doug.goodman;2464895]Not new, but I love this thread, and wish it was a popular as the pennant thread...]
I'd started this thread but have neglected to post much recently due to too much work and traveling. I feel bad about that, but I hope to post more in the coming weeks. I'm glad folks like this thread and I'm always amazed at some of the pieces people share here from their collection! I always enjoy seeing and reading about your finds, Doug! |

That's awesome! I know that tickets have a larger fanbase, but the detail of a scored scorecard along with the vision of someone sitting at the game marking it up (and the other random ads and content in the scorecard) are magical to me.

Ticket conversation - That's a cool ticket, what happened during that game? I forget, let me check retrosheet. Program conversation - That's a cool program, ______ looks like he had a _______ game that day! |

Just won this. 1952 Ted Williams day program. The outer program with the Picture on front and stats on the back with a "regular 1952 scorecard for the game inside. First time I came across one.
The Fenway faithful honored Ted and wished him well as he was leaving to again serve his country as a Marine Pilot. Surprised and happy to have won this. |

Now that I have the item in hand I don't think it was issued with the scorecard. First the crease on the front doesn't seem to affect the scorecard inside. And second the scorecard is pasted inside the Blue cover but there is a scorecard on Ebay without Blue cover that doesn't have any damage on the back page . Those two things Lead me to believe that the Blue cover was a fan giveaway and is seperate from the scorecard. Although the version on ebay is not scored and could be from a differant game in the same series. |

Here are a few of my top ones. Always willing to entertain offers and trades Bert Shepard 1945 Exhibition! Nolan Ryan 1st win Jackie Robinson vs Ben Chapman - 1st stolen base! 1934 all star game - Hubbell K’s 5 in a row |
