Default 1927 e126 American Caramel Babe Ruth

The 1921 - 1922 American Caramel Babe Ruth cards have several variations. Including blank backs, Babe, "Babe" and George. The same front image can also be seen with different advertising backs.
Has anyone seen the 1927 e126 American Caramel Babe Ruth with different variations, blank back, or different advertisements on the back?

Default E126

The E126 American Caramel issue was a sort of a last effort to sell terir product with baseball cards as they had done for about twenty years by that time. It really marks the end of an era.

Regarding Ruth - I have never seen any different variants of the front or back of the card. If there is one I would love to see it.

I have seen people over the years mistake his E121 as an E126.

I do not recall variations for ANY card in the E126 American Caramel set. They did the job right the first time (and had the advantage of it only being a 60 card set). Definitely an overlooked set produced during the late 1920's time frame that had few sets issued.

Brian (and a trio of E126 cards as visual reference)

I guess Leon's blank back Meusel (with WST) proves that E126 blank backs are possible...does anyone remember seeing other blank backs, and for the OP, blank back Ruth cards?

Brian

I think I have seen a few other E126 blank backs, but not positive. Definitely haven't seen a Ruth one...

So hard to find a decent E126 that isn't MC. I have the Cobb in a 3 that is well-centered. Took me eons to snag it. A blessing. IMO this set is only for diehard E card collectors

Good to know Leon's Meusel is only partially a freak of card nature.

Unfortunately no. Just your garden variety blank back.

Sounds like it's possible a Ruth e126 blank back exists.
If anyone comes across one please let me know.
