At the other end of the spectrum, a 1951 Vancouver Capilanos popcorn card of Bill Whyte, star pitcher as well for the University of British Columbia. Bill lives on Vancouver Island, and will be attending our local SABR meeting in Vancouver on August 25 (as a reminder to anyone in the area at that time--all are invited--email me for details) |

I have an affinity for the 57 Braves because it was the first WS I remember following closely on TV and they beat the hated Yankees. So these 2 are a tie for first, right now. |

i too, have to agree on '57 kluszewski in the reds jersey here he cut off the sleeves, but in '59 he came to the white sox and we sox fans still thought he had power...our big banger was sherm lollar... so that 59 card,to me,is part of the pennant winning white sox cards (and this was the 1st year i bought packs, too.) |

Thanks, Jason. If you keep searching on e-bay for Family Fun Center Padres, you should come across one eventually. It is not easy to find but I have seen a couple over the past year. |

Kevin -- I always thought that the Bell Brand's were underated. The vivid and stunning color photography may be second only to 53 Bowman, and they hold up well over the years. Sharp looking card. |
