Interesting interview. But how dare he call some of our posters dumb! How dare he!

Why are sporting events so overloaded with displays of patriotism? Now, there's an important question!

If Mr. O'Keeffe clicks on the latest forum poll above, he'll see that most readers agree
with the premise of his book and that less than 10 percent are "dumb" enough to believe
"The Card" is what it purports to be.

Actually, the fact that the recent sales did not even happen never crossed my mind until I read this article. PSA's #1 talent is marketing. For the conspiracy theorists:

MO: "I am a little flabbergasted that it sold for so much so fast. I guess I'd ask for proof this actually took place. Show me the canceled check!"

Altough I'm not a judge, nor am I lookin to be one! MO seems to give answers that I would give when I first wake-up after a hard night of sleep, & before my first cup of coffee.
a la....
"I think good sports news helps sell newspapers and boosts ratings, so why would you want to jeopardize that by reporting that a shortstop or quarterback is a 'roid freak who eats small children?"

I am a father of many small children & I love sports (Mostly Baseball). This leads me to believe that MO is a really good reporter, holding out on the info he has about such SS's & QB's and their eating habits... ooorrrrrr!?!?!? He knows notin bout his said job & he makes up alot of Stuff....!?

I think my children are safe though....
But I'm not to sure bout MO's professional talent!?

But as previously stated, "I'm No judge!"

Life's Grand,
Denny Walsh
