That does look like Fatty Arbuckle, who was actively involved in baseball.

And as Fatty always liked to say: "Things go better with Coke."

It may look like him, but it's not....as far as I know Fatty's only involvement with baseball was with the Vernon Tigers in 1919 and even then he only bought the team to please his manager Lou Anger whose sister-in-law was the wife of one of the Vernon players.

He could have posed with any team since he was a huge celebrity at the time. It does resemble him, but I agree it may not be. And he probably would be clowning around, and not be that serious.

It took nearly 24 hours for someone to get my joke. I must be too subtle!

Next to Fatty is Buck Weaver, second from left. Next to him is definitely Ty Cobb. Far left in the second row is Jim Thorpe. I think the batboy is Josh Gibson, but it also might be Joe Jackson.

Let's give Fatty a break, though. Who among us hasn't had a coked out night filled with fun and adventure that included a dead starlet or two? Who, I ask you?!

Sorry Fred, this is a family board

Fatty was one of the most successful stars in Hollywood up until 1921, but after the scandal he was pretty much done.

Actually, the player between Fatty and Ty Cobb looks a lot like a TV supporting actor who plays a lawyer in a current show, and whose name simply escapes me. Does anybody else see it, or have a picture of that actor?
