Default While at the National, would you mind looking for ...

I know in the past, there have been a thread or two asking folks at the National to look for certain items that those of us not there would be interested in.

In case anyone on board doesn't already know, I'd be interested in any T206 cards with a rubber stamping on the back from original owner Howe McCormick. The stamp would be in two lines on the back of Piedmont, Old Mill or Hindu cards and would read

Howe McCormick
500 W. Main St., Gainvesville, Fla

You could contact me via message here on the board, or by email at edmccollum@cox.net.

(Leon, if you don't want a thread such as this up this year, just delete. Thanks.)

Hi Ed

If I see any, I'll let you know while I'm there.

Ed, I will keep my eye out. Do you have many of these cards? I never heard of someone collecting something so specific. I think that is pretty cool

He does. One of the coolest stories in the hobby and I was happy to be able to help him out with a toughie.
