That one card that remains...
This 1956 topps don newcombe was given to me the day I met him in june 1993, from my dad it was his personally from the fifties. I went to the waterbury ct ymca to speaker/signing of don newcombe famous pitcher of the brookyln dodgers. Don was on his way to roy campenellas funeral/wake services and stopped off in waterbury to speak on (AA). I had know idea why he (dad) brought me here to meet this guy but i do now. Im grateful my father introduced me to this hobby and had no idea of his struggles, i keep this card for I have the same struggles and need it for the constant reminder.
