1988 Topps Set
I have a factory sealed 1988 Topps Baseball Card Set. Is there any card(s) in this set to make it worthwhile opening it?

That Sam Horn rookie sure does bring back the memories... but I think the answer to your question is "nope." Did the factory set come with any special cards? I don't remember that...

I sell the 1988 set for $5. If its the full color factory box I sell it for $10. Glavines rookie in there. Much better to move it as a whole set.

I remember back in '88 when everyone was looking for the Keith Comstock white letter variation.

The '88 yellow all star cards in this set are neat. There are 22 altogether. Got them all autograpghed and then framed them. Made for a cool display piece.

Would not likely be in factory sets, but there is a scarce/rare 3d Comstock with name in yellow. And early versions of card 381, Angels leaders can be found with a magenta slash on Joyner’s sleeve. And some versions of the Glossy All Star send away set insert, especially “cards not included” used to be pricey
