Like John Travolta in 'Grease,' I too love Sandy. My graded cards are pretty heavily reliant on qualifiers, but I'll take what I can get...

And here's a 1967 'Cards That Never Were' Koufax I created a while back...

Happy birthday, Sandy!!!!!!

I was lucky enough to snag a Koufax in person at Dodgertown a few years ago while he was there:

Love all the pics of cards and other items. Having grown up in that era, he and Mantle are my two favorite players.

The photo I posted is Sandy looking disgusted as Mickey finishes up his home run trot in the 1963 World Series, Game 4, top of seventh inning...ruining Sandy's bid for a series-clinching shutout, but they did win 2-1.

It's not actually a PSA graded card (it's graded by SGC). I just like the way it looks with the faux PSA slab around it. Here's the entire set done the same way:

1967 Topps Test Discs

I've created similar showcase albums for 1967 Topps Stand Ups, 1960 Lake to Lake Braves, 1967 Topps SF Giants Test Discs, and 1980 Topps Pepsi All-Stars

That's amazing...fodder for tabloids these days...but seemingly innocent enough for those days, huh?

I have this hanging up in my office at work. Just such a cool picture, and signed by both.

Not high end, but my favorite Koufax in my collection as I got it as a kid. I love the wear on this one.
