Just a few questions for you experts:

Do we have any idea how many of these are in circulation??

Do we know anyone who might want to sell me one??

I'm pretty sure that there are at least 2 known, and maybe a few more out there, but not many.

I think Dan McKee may be willing to sell you one, but it won't be cheap.

Nick - Thank YOU for visiting!

My wife wonders every month why I pay the internet host to keep my cards on-line ... but it makes it worthwhile when someone like yourself visits and truly enjoys seeing the cards.

And ... since they are all locked up in the safe deposit box ... it's the only way that I get to see them every day as well!

Andy: Thanks for the tip ... and if you know how to reach him, get a lowball price for me!

I tried to win one once on Mastronet, but didn't.

Since I collect rookie cards of HOF players ... and there are SEVEN on that ONE CARD ... it would really fit nice in my colection.

Hal,

Dan won the exact same one that you were bidding on in Mastro, which is why I know it won't come cheap.

Also, I believe the REAL rookie cards of most of those players are the 1894 Alpha Photo Cards, since they are individual player cards. However, there has not been an Alpha Keeler discovered as of yet. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that you or I will ever get the chance to own an Alpha card.

If you want, you can reach Dan at r337man@yahoo.com

This time next week, I will be the proud owner of the 1894 card ...

and Dan will INDEED be able to go buy his own island in the Carribean!

This board is fabulous, because it allows two strangers like Dan and me to help each other out with our collecting needs.

He gets to "rule to World" by still owning the 1894 Alpha cards ...

and I am happy finishing a distant second with the 1894 CdV of all the images on one card.

Thanks again to everyone here. You guys (and Julie) are all great!

Hal,

The Betz card is a cabinet, not a CDV. If it were a CDV, I would have bought it a long time ago.

Dan,

I think you owe me an Alpha card for brokering this deal. I'll gladly take the McGraw!

I'm glad I was able to help you guys out.

Thanks Andy for the help with the cabinet though it is tough to get rid of, it matches the alpha's nicely and yes, that is the only current chance for the Keeler and the Clarke. Dan.
