Default Saw that!!

$77,000!! I've been following that since the auction opened. I was thinking around $20-30k but I'm not an "expert". Too rich for my blood but I did pick up a couple of nice Conlon's for my collection. I love Rhys' stuff!

The Milton Greene Marilyn Monroe was actually photographed by Richard Avedon. Which is good for the winner, because an Avedon photo is worth more.

What would it have gone for if that chunk was not missing.

I doubt that the Cobb photo was greatly affected by condition. Maybe a little, if any, but not much. Now some of the other obscure players maybe..... Still a great auction. I'm liking "photos" more and more because of RMY. Just running out of room to display them!

Condition matters with photos, it's just that photo collectors aren't anal retentive about it as with trading card collectors.
