Default Thoughts on this 1960 Aaron?

I've seen a listing for this 1960 Aaron on Ebay. I'd be interested in thoughts on the card. It's very OC but otherwise it looks pretty good.

The description says that the lightening on the back of the card is just from the scan but the card is clean on the back.

The seller has positive feedback selling vintage cards from the 60s and 70s. But I want to be careful on an ungraded card.

PSA 5(MC) would be my guess. Almost zero top border.

BGS might give it a straight 5?

The light areas you're referring to, do you mean in the upper left and inside the 'Life' boxes? They really don't seem consistent with a scanner issue at all. I'd ask the seller to send me a quick cell phone pic of the back of the card. If those same anomalies appear, then they are 'defects' on the card itself.

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

They kind of look like adhesive residue removal to me.

Its weird, if it is tape residue, it looks like it didn't affect the black numbers.

Yep, those are the ones. I'll ask the seller to post some better photos.

The schmutz on the yellow may come off --it doesn't look ingrained....I'm a centering weenie but this card , since the side borders are nice , I could live with , despite the 2-98 T to B.....a centered PSA 8 sold for $1750....wow
