book called cup of coffee,about pitchers from the 50's till now that had brief ML careers....seems like an interesting read.I havent read it myself yet but im planning to pick up a copy soon

I ordered the book as there was a promotion in which the 1st 50 orders got not only the authors signature but also one of the player's featured.

The book is actually quite good and I loved the description of exactly where each player was interviewed. One player was interviewed at an IHOP in Georgia IIRC.

I know its not pre-WW2 but many of those players are on one or two cards and are still part of our collective history
